Today means FREEDOM. 16 years ago my family and I came to the United States for a better life and opportunity. As a 2nd grader trying to find friends and doing everything I could to fit in. Experiencing racism and exclusion for my race in school. Living in fear was normal for us, but today chains fall to the ground, walls break down, and the 2nd grader in me is running in circles cause he doesn’t have to be scared or ashamed anymore. Today I took the oath to become a citizen of the US. What an honor. I have so many people to thank, even the ones who tried to make me feel less, you were my fire to becoming what I am today. ❤️
I came to Tennessee and met Frank. I love him.
