God called my Grandma home today. After a long and tough battle with Alzheimer’s, I truly believe she’s finally at peace. She taught me so many things in life. It’s the memories with her that I will cherish. It’s picking the cucumbers and fresh dill from her garden and helping her turn them into pickles and can them in the kitchen. It’s going on camping trips and sitting with her in the trailer on rainy days playing cards. It’s sitting and listening to her tell me stories of her childhood in Kansas and the silly things her and her girlfriends would do growing up. It’s her constantly getting after me to be a lady and cross my legs when wearing a dress, old school values I didn’t truly grasp. It’s hard because the disease took her long ago, yet I’m still mourning her passing. #alzheimers #grandma #grief #mourning #restinpeace #withGod #values #oldschoolvalues #cucumbers #pickles #kansas #crossyourlegs #littlethings #memories

So today has been quite emotionally taxing. Its been the 21st Anniversary of my older sisters death today.
I've been thinking alot about the past today. The far distant past of course and also the near past. I can't really explain the thoughts I've been having today. Some happy. Most sad. Some dark thoughts crept in but I did well to push them out again.
My whole body feels really heavy and smiling can be a real struggle but I saw my mum today and my friends and they helped me to laugh. Genuinely laugh. That was nice.
I got home early afternoon but being on my own was difficult. So I've actually been asleep since 5pm and only just woke up. There has been certain decisions I have made over the past few days that my brain needed to process as well as today in particular. As you can imagine that makes me fairly tired!
I am hoping that B 🐝 is somewhere up there looking out for me and recently I've been able to feel her around me more than ever. I am stronger now than I was last year but at the same time everything feels so much harder for some reason too. But she is certainly there. She has such a beautiful smile don't you think? She was an Angel before she was an Angel. I miss her ALL the time. It's like a part of me is missing and I just can't describe it.
I wanted people to see her face and remember her. Look at her smile and imagine the warmth it felt to see her smile and hear her laugh. Imagine her playing in the park with her little sister running around after her trying to beat her with a stick. Imagine us sitting and and painting pretty pictures and eating turkey twizzlers.
I'm going to stop rambling now I promise. Just know that today is difficult for me and difficult for my mum. I might have slept a good part of the day but we made it through the day so that's an achievement in itself.

I was so impressed visiting some places that are remembered for their connection to Van Gogh.
①“The Church at Auvers” Van Gogh painted at the end of his life.
I reproduced it with flying claws for the film “#LovingVincent”, so I have a special attachment to it.
② The original of “The Church at Auvers” @Musée d'Orsay
③Loving vincent’s trailer included the scene I painted. (0:05~)
④Van Gogh and his brother’s graves.
Hope their souls are resting in peace. .
⑤Possibly where he painted ”Wheatfield with Crows” Also, he was shot (himself) around here..
⑥Auberge Ravoux (Maison de Van Gogh) where Van Gough stayed at the end of his life. He drew his last breath in an attic here.
⑦ I couldn't go inside because it was the off season.
⑧Maison du Docteur Gachet
What a shame that I couldn't enter here either!
⑨”The Town Hall at Auvers”
⑩ Tanguy’s art shop

①ゴッホが晩年描いた
”#オーヴェールの教会”。映画「#ゴッホ最期の手紙」でこの教会の周りをカラスが飛ぶシーンを担当させていただいたので、とても思い入れのある場所です。
②#オルセー美術館で原画鑑賞
③ゴッホ～最期の手紙～の予告編。私が描いたシーンも。（0:05〜）
④大っ変お世話になったゴッホとテオのお墓参り。安らかに眠れてますように…
⑤”カラスのいる麦畑”はこの辺で描かれたはず。そして彼が撃たれた(か自殺した)のもこの辺かな。
⑥ラヴー亭。ゴッホの最後のステイ場所。ここの屋根裏で息を引き取りました。
⑦オフシーズンのため中に入れず。
⑧”ガシェ医師”のお家。ここもオフシーズンで入れず。
⑨”革命記念日のオーヴェールの市庁舎”
⑩”タンギー爺さん”の画材屋
…残念なのが、教会は修復中。ラヴー亭、ガシェの家、その他ぜんぶオフシーズンのため中には入れませんでした😭なんてこった😱
ゴッホが実際息を引き取った部屋にも入れなかったので、また行くしかない🤔😭
