Sometimes what you need is a biiiig plate of delicious, ripe fruit! There was one day where I had a heavier lunch of falafel, rice, salad, hummus, etc, and when I came home for dinner after work all I could think about was fruit. Does this have any protein in it? Nah, very little. Did I worry about it? NOPE! I ate plenty of protein and fat that day, and my body was telling me it needed hydration and a sweet plate of fruit. So that’s what I ate, and I felt amazing afterwards! Don’t fear fruit guys, especially in the summer when you have amazing fruits like lychees, plums, mangoes, and figs!!
