John McAfee, the founder of the software company, McAfee Associates, stipulated the exact day, a day he calls the ‘hard date,’ when he believes that Bitcoin will achieve the $1,000,000 feat. This was in response to Jesse Lund’s recent statement on the future of Bitcoin.

Lund, Vice President of Blockchain and Digital Currencies at IBM spoke about IBM’s latest project – World Wire payment network, XLM and Stellar and the future of BTC in an interview. When asked about the cryptocurrency’s valuation for the year, he said: “I’ll go with $5000 but let me say that I have a long term outlook.” The Vice-President further said that he believed that Bitcoin will be worth a million dollar someday. He added: “I like that number, because if Bitcoin is at $1 million, then a Satoshi will be equal to one U.S. penny, which would mean that there is over $20 trillion of liquidity in this network and this $20 trillion of liquidity would massively change the global financial services landscape.” It is in response to these statements that McAfee posted a tweet of his own, “People are waking up to the fact that Bitcoin will be $1,000 000. But when? “Someday”. “Maybe 5 years”. “Within a decade”. I’m the only one giving you a hard date: Dec 31st, 2020.” Jesse Lund made this prediction on a YouTube channel, Crypto Finder where he also discussed the need for a less cumbersome cross-border payment network and how IBM planned to solve the same. Speaking about the problem of cross-border payments, the Vice President of Blockchain and Digital Currencies at IBM, asserted the need for a requisite channel that facilitated an instant transaction execution with no technical barrier.

John McAfee’s present prediction comes a few years after made a similar prediction for the same cryptocurrency a few years ago. Back in July 2017, McAfee predicted that the price of the cryptocurrency would reach $500,000 in three years. The present prediction suggests that McAfee believes BTC to grow in value at two times the speed as it did back in 2017.

Further, McAfee also exuded confidence in his price prediction, promising to do anything requested of him on Twitter.

Get your message OUT THERE.

Something I've been meaning to get into a routine of for longer than I can remember is video.
.
I know it's the fastest way to get content out... and I know it's one of the easiest ways to consume just as well.
.
For so long it's been an overthought thing for me. Overthinking the situation having been a major struggle for me the past couple of years.
.
What's the message? How should I deliver it? Is the lighting okay? Do I sound weird? On and on and on...
.
For those of you reading who experience paralysis by analysis... know you're not alone!
.
But I want to kick that to the curb this year because at some point along the line you realize that you know ENOUGH to make an impact. You've learned ENOUGH to specialize in something. And you're EXACTLY what some people need just the way you are.
.
Stop selling yourself short if that's you.
.
Step outside of your comfort zone because that's where the REAL self development happens.
.
If you can step out in one area of your life and see positive change... you can do the same in another.
.
It's mind over matter 💭
.
Does the you that you're trying to become hesitate when taking action? Does he let fears and self doubts step in? Does he limit himself?
.
If you've done some visualization and you know who you're working toward becoming... I doubt that person stands in his own way. So we should be doing the same 💪🏼

Let me tell you about this book right here. I first read it back in 2007 when I was still gaining interest in business.
For years I only showed interest in film and psychology. I read anything about Hollywood and subjects like screenwriting or directing. I also showed interest in Carl Jung, Joseph Campbell and their study of archetypal patterns (along with self-help books ranging from positive thinking to NLP). That all changed in 2005 after getting bit by the branding, sales and marketing bug. My first books were Al Ries and Jack Trout classics like "Positioning", "Differentiate or Die", "Marketing Warfare" and "22 Laws of Branding". Then in 2006 I expanded into customer service books like "Raving Fans", "Leading at a Higher Level" and "Customer Mania" by Ken Blanchard. John DiJulius "Secret Service" was another.

Jim Collins "Built To Last" was my introduction to company cultures back in 2007. 5 years on I read his sequels "Good To Great" and "How the Mighty Fall", also suggested. "Built To Last" is the best though.

What's awesome are the simple concepts (no dictionary needed) illustrated with multiple examples. It's a smooth read with dynamite lessons. Most likely you'll finish in less than 30 days because it's hard to put down! I've read it 4 times so please check it out.

By the time you finish you'll know all about company values, visions, missions, beliefs, teamwork and goals. Culture will be a breeze to understand. I can't recommend it enough!
