Mindfulness invites a deeper awareness of our senses, allowing us to be fully in our body. Creating the space to experience the present moment and all it has to offer. Bringing peace and clarity to our minds.
♡
Here is how I practice my mindfulness tea drinking: ♡
1. I listen to the water as it begins to bubble, watch as the steam begins to rise. I take this time and breath deep and allow myself to settle in to the moment. Grounding down into the earth, practicing Tadasana. Feeling the connection of my feet rooted evenly onto the ground. Allowing myself to tune into my body.
2. when the water has boiled I feel the weight of the pot as I lift it. Watching the color of the water change as I pour it over the tea bag. Feeling the warmth of the steam raise up to my face.
3. Holding my hands softly around the cup, to feel the warmth of the mug, continuing to breath slowly and fully as my tea steeps.
4. Slowly bringing the cup to your lips feeling the warm touch, notiing the warmth against my face. I take a sip, I feel the warmth travel from my tongue to my throat and feel it fill my chest. This is where the peacefulness sets in for me. That first sip.
5. I take note of the flavor. The smell. Amd just go slow and allow myself to feel whatever else my arise within me. As a though floats by, I come back to my breath. ♡
When my tea is finished, I take my cup the the sink, mindfully rise and place on the countertop. I pause for a moment, take a few more deep mindful breaths, smile and proceed with my day, trying to hold onto that peace that I invited during my practice. ♡

So, I was reading a little more of @babaramdass yesterday and this quote almost jumped off the page. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Whatever the practice, we can really get caught up in the "accomplishment" of it all. That's a great way to mess up something you enjoy. Right? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀

Well that was an awesome weekend we’ve just had together!!! 💗

Friday night we went out to the RSL to have our “Valentines Day” dinner. The kids had a blast playing on the play equipment with the other kids they met & we won TWO Meat trays in the raffle! 🥳
.
Saturday saw us travel to our closest Westfield shopping centre where we had an awesome lunch at Burger Urge & I picked up a couple of bargains! Took Claire into the Pet Shop - which is always fun & cute to see her reactions to the animals!! Got Max some more #transformers toys & Claire wanted a toy gun set 😆🤷🏻‍♀️

Then this morning, whilst Karson & Claire slept. Max & I took our dog for a walk 🐶 It was lovely to get out in nature with my little man 😍🦜🌳 A trip to the shops together to get a few groceries & a large cushion to use as a meditation pillow. (inspired by #gabbybernstein ) Then a day at home as a family where we had a Roast Lamb for dinner from our won meat trays!

lately i've been in no good condition. physically and mentally. everything stressed me out and no one could do it right for me. I hated this condition but I didn't do anything about it because I had other thigs in my mind. I only ate many sweets and unhealthy stuff and I didn't work out for over 4 weeks. no yoga no fitness and no meditation.
I started to feel so bad to the point that I really had to change something but my motivation was so low that I could't find a point to start. and then I read the story of "the king and the ring" again my cousin @kathrin.weidner told me and wich says "this too shall pass" and after that my condition started to change again and I started to feel better.
what I actually want to say with this is that there are always times when you feel down and unwell and everything seems to feel wrong but in some cases you have to accept it because it's just human to have bad days. but they will pass and there will be sunshine again! So just keep going and do what feels right for you.
for me this story really helps to get through such times so if you want to read it there's the link in my bio. for me there starts a time of healing and recovery now I have to focus on myself to start again.
