One of my best hiking experience @ Buli mountain. It use to be a home for the the Buli tribe, this mountain is over 2000meters above sea level and spread over 6km square with breathtaking views! It took us 6 hours to get to its peakest point, it was not easy but rewarding. Part of the rewards was a plant we came across that store water during dry season, so clean and pure and appealing to drink! The natives believe this water have some medicinal purposes. The plant is locally called "Dafara". We also saw caves and marks made by some white people and that one of them entered one of the cave and never return. -
Buli mountain is a mountain that u don't go and come back the same. You will want to always want to go back and you will back with so much inspiration. @baban_saibo got an inspiration to write a poem titled "Buli of my mystery" @moha_msqr have more ideas of photography and cinematography, and too came up with a poem titled "Hikers Paradise" will be on my story soon.

Rare tea! • Recently I had a message from @rareteacompany asking if I would like to try a selection of their teas. In all honesty I am not a huge drinker of hot beverages but I said yes primarily because I was blown away by their ethos and values. • The Rare Tea Company is a small, independent company based in London. The company was founded in 2004 by Henrietta Lovell to source and supply the world's best tea direct from farmers and their tea gardens. I suppose what struck me most about the brand was the passion they have for what they do as well as the integrity with which they deliver their products. • This is in stark contrast to how so many companies operate today and it shows just what can be achieved with hard work by people who care about what they do. From what I can see they have built their success on a foundation of trust through real relationships with both producers and customers. And the only way to do this is with transparency: All of their tea is crafted by skilled men and women on independent farms, not industrially processed by large agri-businesses. They are wholly committed to Direct Trade and do not buy from brokers or middle men. • Rare Tea also have a strong commitment to sustainable farming practices: “...like Rajah Banerjee at Makaibari, have adopted biodynamic as well as organic standards. He is so committed to preserving his corner of the Himalayan foothills that he preserves two thirds of his estate as virgin forest. This not only improves the quality of his tea but helps to protect an endangered tiger population.” • They also realise ethical farming is not a black and white issue which is why they work with small producers who don't always have the money or manpower necessary for the complex and costly process of organic certification. This means they sacrifice the selling power of organic labelling because it would disadvantage the smaller farms they most admire. • There is so much more I could write about these guys from their policies on waste and carbon footprints to the charity they have founded. But I’ve run out of space, so instead just go and take a look for yourself.

FACE 🧖🏻‍♀️ • Tonight we’re talking all things face! In particular - evening skin regimes. This is a little more lady focused (apologies gents!) but we’ll aim to get some men’s skincare ideas up here soon - and there’s nothing to say men can’t do a bit of a pamper sesh too! 💅🏻 • The most recent hunt was for a replacement for @garnieruk micellar water. Although this has been an old favourite for a couple of years now, and is far better for both my skin and the environment than face wipes, I wanted something that was more eco both in terms of ingredients and packaging 🧼 • Cue - big research sesh. Although I already use both @deciem and @drhauschkagb as part of my routine, I wanted something that was both affordable and specifically tailored to make up removal. @sukinskincare were on offer @hollandandbarrett (score!) so I’ve decided to give them a whirl and see how I get on 🙌🏻 • Sukin appealed as their products are all natural, vegan and cruelty free; but also they are carbon neutral as part of their brand philosophy. Plus they look and feel like a little bit of luxury at the end of the day! I’m teaming this little set with my facecloth and a set of eco bamboo reusable cleansing pads in a bid to get rid of all cotton wool and synthetic ingredients from my evening routine 🐑 • I’ll keep you updated on how it’s going! John Adams, the second president of the USA, also warned us about a dualistic form of democracy. He said: "There is nothing which I dread so much as a division of the republic into two great parties, each arranged under its leader, and concerting measures in opposition to each other. This, in my humble apprehension, is to be dreaded as the greatest political evil under our Constitution." And here we are....Over and over, dualistic “either-or” thinking has crippled our cultural and political sphere. Non-dualism recognizes that polar positions are only the end points of one continuum, and that "wisdom" lies in recognizing that solutions exist in the space that connects the poles.
Because life isn't black and white. And one of the most under-appreciated word in the English language is “and.” Life is seldom this or that, but rather, this and that, and that, and that, ad infinitum. Individualism and collectivism are not irreconcilable. Science and religion are not irreconcilable. Pro-life and pro-choice are not irreconcilable. Industry and environmentalism are not irreconcilable. Human rights and animal rights are not irreconcilable.
We are one species together with all other species on one limited planet, and a quality future for ALL requires the recognition of the connectedness of the needs and rights of each.
Together we will rise...divided we will fall.
