You seriously only have 3 workouts left of this program. Don’t you want to finish this with everyone else?? Oh Girl, give yourself some grace, it’s been a rough night. .
Finally at 4:11am my body rolls out of bed. I definitely could have used an extra hour of sleep and could have made up the workouts late. But I made a promise to myself that I would do this! I would start and end this program when I am suppose to. I will finish with everyone else on Saturday! I cannot break a promise to myself! One thing I’ve learned over the last 4 years is consistency is key and I am my own motivation! I must do what I say I’m going to do! .
So today wasn’t easy, but I did it! I beat my transformers, and I cannot wait to see what tomorrow brings!

I had only got 5 hours of sleep last Night because of work, so the day has otherwise been on internship and then directly on to my job which resulted in me first being home at 18: 30 🙈
So getting out and running was not the coolest thing🙈

I feel like I’ve needed to solidify myself before accounting for my decision I made on January 7th 2019. It was the day after I sipped my last drink. It was only one drink. I slowly weened myself off of depending on the weekends of fun to play and be silly.. but it’s changed how I feel, usually anxious and not always in control. I have had lengthy toxic relationships with many substances and MYSELF over the years.. and my body finally has accepted that I cannot handle anything besides Marijuana. The herb of my heart 💚 .

I’ve always been afraid to commit to it and fail.. because it was a fall back and a crutch of the ultimate escapism. I’ve quite literally traumatized my psyche to a point where I am not myself when I drink alcohol. I behave like someone I am not proud of. I have enough self respect now to appreciate what my needs are. I don’t need to do what anyone else does in order to experience life happily. It does not make me happy to drink. And it’s certainly not worth being poisoned over. I don’t feel I need to escape anything anymore. I maaaaybe drank a handful of times this past year. And it didn’t really serve a purpose to me besides wasting my time and money! I am proud of my life and I know I will use my lessons learnt to share with those whom I understand and they too need support. One day when I am comfortable to do so, I dream of supporting individuals with addictions. .

That is my dream. I am sober now and I will continue to live this dream with the support of my Partner, Family, Friends, Colleagues and everyone in between!! I thank you in advanced for being aware that I am committing to being sober FOR REAL THIS TIME. And I certainly do appreciate invites still to do things, parties I’ll just have to smoke you out now instead 😉

I feel like I’ve needed to solidify myself before accounting for my decision I made on January 7th 2019. It was the day after I sipped my last drink. It was only one drink. I slowly weened myself off of depending on the weekends of fun to play and be silly.. but it’s changed how I feel, usually anxious and not always in control. I have had lengthy toxic relationships with many substances and MYSELF over the years.. and my body finally has accepted that I cannot handle anything besides Marijuana. The herb of my heart 💚 . . . I’ve always been afraid to commit to it and fail.. because it was a fall back and a crutch of the ultimate escapism. I’ve quite literally traumatized my psyche to a point where I am not myself when I drink alcohol. I behave like someone I am not proud of. I have enough self respect now to appreciate what my needs are. I don’t need to do what anyone else does in order to experience life happily. It does not make me happy to drink. And it’s certainly not worth being poisoned over. I don’t feel I need to escape anything anymore. I maaaaybe drank a handful of times this past year. And it didn’t really serve a purpose to me besides wasting my time and money! I am proud of my life and I know I will use my lessons learnt to share with those whom I understand and they too need support. One day when I am comfortable to do so, I dream of supporting individuals with addictions. . . . That is my dream. I am sober now and I will continue to live this dream with the support of my Partner, Family, Friends, Colleagues and everyone in between!! I thank you in advanced for being aware that I am committing to being sober FOR REAL THIS TIME.
