Tory Wrap Coat (I'm doing View B) using fabric in my stash from @leeloudesigns720. As we head back home for a funeral, these projects will be ready for me when I return.

While the purpose of this challenge is to showcase and highlight African American pattern designers IT IS OPEN TO THE ENTIRE SEWING COMMUNITY NO MATTER YOUR RACE, GENDER or where you live in the world! This challenge is open internationally.

PRIZES:

1st place Prize $75 e-gift card from Sew Much Fabric, A pattern of your choice from Style Sew Me and a My Daily Threadz Sew Plan It Planner.

2nd place Prize: 2yards of fabric from Firabella Fabrics, Tory Coat Pattern from Montoya Patterns and copy of Sewn Magazine.

3rd place prize: Knit Pattern from Bayron Handmade, Clara Handbag pattern from Lejanarobpatterns and a bag of notion goodies.

The Rules are simple:

1. MUST tag myself @naturaldane and Myra @onesewsweet on Instagram and you MUST use the #BHMPatternDesigners in order for your entry to be counted.

2. You must use a pattern from any Black Pattern Designer. This also included pattern designers such as Andrea of Sew-To-Fit, McCall Pattern Company designers: Beaute JAdore and Khaliah Ali

3. Garments must be sewn or knitted and posted between February 1 and February 28, 2019!! We will randomly choose winners the first week of March 2019.

🐇Ein tynn jakke eg sydde i fjor sommer. ☀️Sydd i tynt «jakkestoff» fra restebordet på @stoffstil . kan tenke meg at det er ganske vindtett. Fôret er fast bomull, og fra stoff og stil. Mønster lagd med utgangspunkt i eit mønster på ein romslig genser. Tar ganske lang tid, men det er utrulig lærerikt å sy sånne plagg. Prøver meg fram underveis. Her har eg sett på ein «kjøpejakke» når eg lagde kragen. Den har mulighet til å skjule den flappen ein fester hetta på. Veldig greit om ein brukar jakken uten hette. (Knappar fra eBay)

Denne er blitt litt for liten til sønnen min no, så ny jakke må lagast til våren🌿 No jobbar eg med å lage meg fleire jakkemønster, prøver ut ulike varianter🤓

I posted a similar picture in one of my previous posts dedicated to this particular bag, but I realised shortly afterwards that it wasn’t 100% correct 🥵 so here is a new one with nice colours, and if you didn’t already guess what it is (😆) it’s an image showing all the pattern pieces with all the different fabrics and materials I use in order to create the bag, excluding accessory materials such as zips, webbing etc..looks like there’s a lot of them but it’s actually a very simple thing!
