How do you get that “GLOW”?! Let’s talk more about making ourselves shine - starting from the inside out! .
.
1) Emotional intelligence - know thyself, love thyself - and don’t take no sh*t from nobody 🙅🏼‍♀️. Toxic relationships, thoughts, and habits steal our glow quickly. Think about it! You can see it when someone is in love, just had a beautiful s*x session or becomes pregnant?! Someone who is confident becomes radiant! Something about the person shifts! If you’re feeling a little dull and worn out lately make a list of energy in/energy out, and call back all that you are losing. .

2) Energetics - there is more than just a physical glow you get but an aura about someone too. It’s important we check in with our energetics to see what we may unconsciously be carrying around. We can look on pointe but have a shadow clouding our space. Have we become as creative as we could be? As open hearted to amplify that shine? Where can we work to unblock ourselves?! .
.
3) Nutrition - staying hydrated in the right ways, cutting out the bad processed foods and sweets and getting good rest and eating natural, whole foods is just a start! I could go on for days and so does the skin guru @body.on.pointe ! Follow along with her to see more as she joins with @frillylilly in the upcoming month to talk skin care (inside and out).

Feel your chi, right now :) here’s one exercise. With only one minute I said as much I could in the video read more below :)
•
Why feel your chi? Well emotions are energy and when we slow down and feel chi (energy) within we can more easily experience emotions as separate from ourselves. Emotions as waves that come and go. With this kind of relationship with emotions, can cultivate inner freedom and peace
•
Typically I teach this exercise after opening and awakening the body which most physical exercise can help achieve. The more you increase your sensitivity and inner awareness the more you can tap into feeling chi within any moment.

*how to instruction below*
This exercise consists of standing or sitting with an erect spine either on the ground or in a chair. Take a few breaths comfortably in your position. Close your eyes and relax your shoulders. When you’re ready, rub your hands and create warmth between them. After a minute or so slowly stop and mindfully move them apart. With your focus on your palms feel the space between your palms. You can imagine an invisible string connecting the two palms together. With your breath you can move; inhaling as your palms move towards one another and exhaling as you move your palms away from one another. Go back and forth and be curious of that which your feeling. Can explore and enjoy by taking any kind of moment. If you’re thinking more than you’d like, try moving slower, try to feel every micro movement. A lot more to be said but this is enough for now!

Try it today, try it this weekend. Try it by itself or try it after exerciseing. Pair with meditation or any other practice you typically do. And Let me know how it goes or if you have any questions!
