It feels like fall, so here are some pictures from a summer family trip. No. 5-8 by the three year-old Mango. She took a picture of each doggo 😭. Shooting on film seems to fulfill a kid’s sensory experience. Clicking the shutter, using the film advance lever. It’s cool to see pictures from the low-angle perspective, and they turned out pretty well with this wide-angle lens where everything is in focus at infinity. Shot on #ektar100
Some Swiss guy just soloed the center peak in 45 min 😳. Tre Cime di Lavaredo in the Dolomites.
Some more rock to drool over. @dadbod_savage on a real nice 15’ section of stone.
Climbing conditions are currently lodeing.
Roaming round the early alpine glow.
Always remember your orc spray.
Some of that Rado alpenglow.
Phone shot, but I probably should have dropped my tripod here.

I’m missing waking up to this balcony view right about now, but we’ll be In Colorado tomorrow. That’ll do just fine.

The best part of Venice was Maggie’s swishy butt.
Following Maggie through more mountain paths. ↔️
All I want to do is follow Maggie through mountain paths. ↕️
The same scene for the birds and the fishes. Lago di Fedèra. The hike to get here made me feel like I was roaming through Hyrule. I followed a trail that wound through a waterfall-stepped box canyon. The climb up a fixed ladder lead to a pasture laced with the pre-dawn dew. The cattle and horses were sound asleep, but the donkeys questioned my belonging. As I approached the lake, cyclists mounted their panniers having recently awoken from the rifugio. The smell of their coffee and cigarettes accompanied this reflection of lone peak Becco di Mezzodì.
