"Between Hours", by Edward B. Gordon. I was immediately struck by Gordon's paintings: he has a strong sense of directed light - a photographer's eye, you might say - in the context of a modern, somewhat isolated urbanity. A mix of Edward Hopper and Alex Colville, if I was to compare him with predecessors. It's wonderful work. Follow him at @edwardbgordon_official
